Safety Philosophy¶
Bijux-Vex is built to fail closed, not fail quietly.
Refusal is a feature
- If a guarantee cannot be met, the system refuses instead of guessing.
- Refusal makes problems visible early, when they are cheaper to fix.
Fail-closed design
- Non-determinism is never implicit.
- Backends never silently downgrade capabilities.
- Partial writes are treated as invalid until proven complete.
Why silence is dangerous
- Silent fallbacks create false confidence.
- Hidden approximation makes audits meaningless.
- Undeclared randomness turns production into guesswork.
This philosophy is why Bijux-Vex feels strict. It is strict so you can trust it.
